2010 Season approaches
February 18, 2010
The 2010 season is almost upon us. The season will kick-off in late April with make-up games from the end of the fall. Games will run through late June, then break until early August. The season will resume and conclude in October with the play-offs and cup finals.
New team deadline is March 15, 2010. You must have contacted the league with your team information and paid the league fee and team deposit by this date to be on the schedule.
Oct 25 - Daleo and Warner 1 closed
October 24, 2009
Games scheduled for October 25 on Daleo and Warner 1 are cancelled due to field conditions. Information on reschedules will be forthcoming.
League Meeting on 8/6 - 7 PM
July 28, 2009
The summer meeting for all managers is scheduled for Thursday, August 6th, 7 PM at KEVA.
Sunday 6/7 - games still on as scheduled

Sunday 6/7 - games are still on as scheduled at this point. Before your game evaluate field conditions and determine if you can play. Both managers and the referees should make this decision together.
Sunday 5/10 - two games cancelled

For Sunday, 5/10 there are two games cancelled -
11 AM and 1 PM on Daleo Northwest are cancelled and will be rescheduled.
All other games are on.
Saturday May 9th games cancelled

Daleo fields is closed on May 9th due to the rain last night and water on the fields.
As of today games for Sunday, May 10th are still on as originally scheduled.

Spring Dates

The first weekend of spring season will be 4/19/09. Player registration will start 4/4/09 and will be every Saturday as normal.
Sunday 9/14 games update

Games scheduled for 9/14 will be played as scheduled.
However, Daleo South had standing water on it this morning as of 8 AM. We will be moving these games to the Daleo Northwest field.

* Paying the league fee and refundable deposit.
* Submitting the team name and uniform colors.

2008 Mad City Cup Final
June 02, 2008
The finals for the 2008 Mad City Cup are set. Defending champions Madison United FC will take on Traditional FC for the trophy.
Madison United FC won the cup last year 3-1 over Madison Celtics 1. This is their fifth trip in six years to the final. They were winners in 2005 and 2003, finishing runner-up in 2006.
This is the first appearance in the final for Traditional FC.
The game will be played at Warner park on the fenced in field at the corner of Sherman and Northport.
Kick-off is currently scheduled for 7:30 PM.
Apr 20 games at Yahara moved to Rennebom

The games originally scheduled for Yahara on 4/20 have been moved to Rennebom park. The Elver fields are still to wet for us to play on.
Friday 4/18 and Saturday 4/19 are cancelled.

Games at Reddan - start times

Reminder that game times at Reddan this weekend are 11 AM, 12:45 PM, and 2:30 PM.
You will have to hustle to get these started on time but we need to be done for 4:30 PM games.
Season Kick-off September 9th

Welcome to the 07-08 season! A couple of quick notes as we get started.
1. All managers, please report your game results to David the day of the game. You can e-mail him at davidmartin@madisonsoccer.com or call him at 772-1024.
2. We are playing at DALEO this weekend. Do NOT use the field right next to the parking lot (East). Our games are on West (second field from parking lot) and North (just north of the East field).
3. Current forecast says 75 and sunny. In the event it does rain...
* If Town of Westport closes the fields I will call the managers and send out an e-mail.
* If they do not close the fields it is up to the two managers and the referee to determine if the fields are playable. If everyone agrees the field is not playable, call the game and we will reschedule it.
* Conditions that can lead to calling the game include but are not limited too - lightning in the immediate vicinity, standing water on the field, field soaked enough to cause permanent damage if played on, sheeting rain making it impossible to see, etc...
